Press the power button for at least 8-10 seconds and again, insert the battery and check if the laptop boots. If the device fails to boot, reset the battery connection by inserting a pin into the emergency reset pinhole. Dec 9, 2016. #1. Lenovo Ideapad 100-15IBD won't turn on. The LED power lights flash once but laptop won't come on. Tried unplugging battery and pressing the power button for 30 sec to reset it but it didn't make a difference.
